Nellie - Nellie is an 8 mo old Black Mouth Cur/ Hound mix, female. She is the puppy of Lucy. She is dog and kid friendly.  Nellie is a sweet girl, very playful with other dogs. Crate trained and doing great in the house. Settled into new routine by following other dogs. Will continue to do better with another well balanced dog to guide her. She comes to me when I call her. If I go towards her abruptly, she’ll go the other direction. But she lets me pet her, she lets me put her on her side, rub her belly. She will run away if you have a leash in your hand so we’re working on that. Nellie needs time to warm up to people, she’s afraid and avoids interacting with people. Likely due to no human exposure as a puppy. She’s getting much better with me but needs a patient person to give her time.
