Rescued DACHSHUND from ACCT Philadelphia! “Lila” knows her name. She has been fed and loved until one day she wasn’t. This little girl is only about 1 year old. She was surrendered because she got pregnant. She’s young and it was not her fault. She was pulled by ACCT, but her puppies euthanized when they spayed her. She was obviously close to delivery since her milk glands were already developing. Lila has taken this abandonment and shelter experience very hard. It has taken days just to get her outdoors or to eat or drink. Lila has started coming around to be a part of our pack. Honestly, I think she would prefer a quieter environment than our 4 other dogs. Now that she feels safe she is very much a loving lapdog. Lila is still healing inside and out. She needs someone who has time and plenty of love to help her continue to heal.
