Location: Mission, TX Meet Jax (short for Jaxon) Ever been at work and your co worker pilfers the tuna sandwich right outta your lunch box in the breakroom fridge? I would never do that! Foster Mom says I’m an impeccably good co woofer, I mean co worker. I watch out for her while she works from home.

I am a neutered male German shepherd about 2 years old and 65 pounds. I’m heartworm negative too. Whew. Foster Mom says they don’t call us German Shedders for nuthin, as I do shed. If you’re a GSD lover, you prob already own a very sucky vacuum. I mean sucky in a good way. My description is as follows, friendly, playful, very smart, and medium energy. I love to run around the backyard or at dog park or go for walks/jogs on leash. I’m really a go anywhere type of guy. I was found on a cold rainy day going up to people asking for assistance. Lots of people shoo shooed me, but Foster Mom helped me because I was sweet and friendly and didn’t deserve to be shoo shooed for being lost. Even though I went home with a stranger, I’ve always been sweet & friendly since day one and enjoy my temporary fam.

I enjoy playing with my foster siblings (chihuahua, labradoodle & pitbull) and I don’t mind sharing toys, but sometimes I just want to keep my toy to myself. I know “sit” & “paw”. I bring the vibe up in any room I enter because of my happy go lucky mood. I stay busy by chew bones & playing with toys. I love treats & will also sit for treats. I also love cucumbers!

Sometimes I need to be reassured that it’s ok to eat & that the bowl is mine. So Foster Mom and me have a routine. I will stand next to bowl excitedly & Foster Mom tells me “your bowl, good boy” & I’ll sit next to bowl & eat. Wow, have you decided to be my family yet, shucks, I’d already be standing outside Foster Mom’s house with a boom box. I love cuddles, ear scratches, belly rubs, & giving kisses. I do enjoy sleeping on Foster Mom’s bed or on my own bed or the floor at bedtime. Okay, are you contacting Foster Mom now?

I’m so excited, I’m prancing and throwing up my paws ready to give you all the kisses. Tell Foster Mom Aly you want me to be your Jax! Basics: Jax- neutered male, About 2 yrs old, 65 lbs, Cats (Unknown, not exposed), Good with dogs, Good with kids over 9 yrs (younger kids unknown, not exposed), Potty trained, Crate trained, happy, friendly, medium energy, lots of personality
