My name is Maggie and I'm part of the Simpson's pack. We were given our names because some of our volunteers thought we looked like Santa's Little Helper. Just like him, I had a rough start in life. I was literally starving to death in someone's basement. But help arrived and now I am packing on the pounds, with pleasure!  I'm just a baby and have my whole life ahead of me!

I enjoy playing with dogs of all sizes and cuddling with my favorite humans. I am going potty outside but am still working on letting people know when I need to go out. But I do a pretty good job on pee pee pads. I sleep in my crate over night and barely make a peep. I just discovered these fun things called toys and hope my new family buys me some. I even am learning to walk on a leash. My foster mommy says I'm a smart cookie because I come when called. I am very food oriented and sometimes try to eat everyone's food so may need to be fed separate from other dogs.
