Panda - This sweet boy came to us from a shelter in Houston. He was on the euthanize list, but we couldn't let that sweet face leave this earth without knowing love. He is a 5 yr old adult pit mix. We are setting up his neuter.

His face is a mess. he has old and newer scars around his upper body, and you can tell he’s been beat up by dogs and had a rough life in general. I just wanted to give him a big hug and apologize on behalf of mankind. Because he’s still incredibly affectionate, and didn’t deserve any of this. He took treats so gently, and walked well on a loose leash. He even knew how to sit. He was surprisingly friendly to the other playful dogs through the fence and kept a high wagging tail throughout his time outside. I think he’s going to be a bit cautious in general (wondering if they’re looking to beat him up or not) but I saw 0 aggression or any negative behavior, that would give me concerns. I never even heard a peep from him. I think this boy is a lover, not a fighter. He’s just been dealt a really bad card. Someone please give him a home to call his own.
