Meet Zoey. A chi/ Italian greyhound mix, about 1 year old and 10 lbs. She arrived on June 7 from TX with a tiny baby. She's been the best momma, but  will be ready for her forever home soon. Found in an abandoned house in south Texas, Zoey didn’t act like she ever had a person to trust and love her. Her eyes have softened so much since she’s been here. She’s just starting to play with toys and take treats out of her foster's hand. She loves love now and just wants to be touched. She a little hesitant of steps and leash walking, but is a quick learner. She’s the best companion and wants to please. She’s very agile but fairly calm. 

Zoey is heartworm positive and does need to undergo treatment. She also needs to be spayed. We are looking for a foster to adopt home for her to calmly complete her treatment. All expenses are covered by the rescue. Once treatment is completed, she will be available to adopt. Zoey will be available as a foster to adopt on July 15.
